The A.R.T System provides a High Tech flexible, safe, cost effect alternative to conventional transportation systems. The product being processed rides on a cushion of air. This air stream is maintained at a very low pressure, providing a much safer working environment. Product can be transported long distances, over varied terrain - level, ascending, curves, over water etc. Because the technology is so flexible, the need for the use of heavy equipment can be significantly reduced. The time and resources need to transport product can be cut dramatically. Labor and equipment cost savings are other compelling reasons to integrate A.R.T process into your application. Following is an explanation of A.R.T: |
As the name implies these systems are pneumatically driven, low-pressure (less than 3 psi) separation and/or product transportation units. The Key component is a device that generates a vortex that in turn establishes boundary layer airflow on the inside surface of a cylindrical chamber. Into the established vortex various materials may be injected for either a product separation-dehydration function or simply a cushioned frictionless rapid transportation to a specific (piped) location.
The ART systems have basically an ultra efficient material handling capability, but due to the physical components and their functional characteristics will also function as a dehydrator for food grains and many other substances with small particle components.
SYSTEM COMPONENTS:
These systems have been proven in mining-separation of ores, separating residual carbon (coal) from slag, removing dust from silica ores, separating black iron particles from beach sand, cleaning food grains, dehydrating food grains, separating oil from water in environmental cleanups, and/or simply transporting all of the above materials from point A to point B.
BENEFITS:
The ART systems are the most cost effective and foolproof systems to build, maintain and use for any materials separation and transport systems ever developed.
But, they must be carefully engineered for each application even though the components and parameters may appear to be similar.
Systems can be either completely portable, or fixed. Since there is no internal friction to consider, piping may be of the thinnest material available, hence easily transportable.
Operations can be either steady or intermittent without harm to equipment or personnel. Once set up, the equipment requires only ‘turn on’ or ‘turn off’. The system then requires only appropriate monitoring when used for environmental cleanup.
Operational distance (when transporting materials) is unlimited with utilization of booster pumps.
